How Authority Bias & Halo effect create a perception through a simple News card

Recently I have seen few post on social media like Facebook and LinkedIn are flooding with images with famous and Infamous person with quotes and statements.
Seeing this kind of post we tend to believe it, without verifications. Most cases these are fake and fabricated to get an impression and few of them follow the crowd blindly.
This is simply a psychological effect which referred to be as Authority Bias and Halo Effect.

In Authority Bias; when we see an Image or news card, something like this which is related to a respective, well-known, authoritative person or public figure we are most likely to jump into the crowd with rest.

Now we don’t give a second thought before believing it or before sharing it to the social media whether its real or fake, as we see someone with regular activities & popular face on social media whoever shared it on the first ground is being admired by many and many of them think this is the one.

This occur due to personality of that content sharer. Probably S/he has the impression of intelligence, success, show-off, attractiveness, fame. Since many of us trust this kind of personality blindly and more likely to accept the statements attributed to them. This is what Halo Effect is.
